and baby makes three… sarasota newborn photography

This little guy was determined to make it into the world for New Years Eve – he wanted to party!;-)Born about five weeks earlier than he should’ve been, baby Mason is one tough little dude.  And he’s adorable as can be!!

the f family – ringling museum family portrait session

Christina works at one of my favorite places in Sarasota, the John & Mable Ringling Museum of Art.  If you’ve ever seen the movie Great Expectations with Gwyneth Paltrow & Ethan Hawke, then you’ve seen Ca’ d’Zan, or House of John, John Ringling’s former home.  To say it’s GORGEOUS is putting it mildly and it was the perfect backdrop for her family portrait session yesterday.

horsing around

This happy horse was at my photo session on Friday!  The first time I met her, she had special sunglasses on because her eyes are a very light blue. Obviously she’s friendly and I really wished I’d had some carrots (or something) with me to give her.  She especially seemed to enjoy it when I scratched her ear for her.. if she could have, I swear she’d have thumped her leg like a dog!;-)

That horse has quite a smile!

one big happy family – sarasota family portrait photography

Samantha took advantage of the in-laws being down for the holidays to schedule one giant family portrait session at the beach.  You know what that means?  An extra big sneak peek!;-)

Sam is one of those amazing moms.  Her son was diagnosed with Ataxia Telangiectasia, or A-T for short, and in an effort to raise money for research and awareness, she started the Wobbly Feet Foundation – the tattooed logo both she and her own Mother proudly wear in honor of Connor.

Kelley contacted me last week – she was going to be in town for the holidays and needed some family photos.  We talked about several ideas and she happened to mentioned she liked “old” houses.  Once she said that, I knew of the perfect place to take her family for photos.  It was well worth the trip to hang out with this adorable family for an hour!
